Left: Finishing touches are almost complete in this teaching laboratory, one of several.

Middle: The seats are installed in the main-300-seat capacity auditorium awaiting the first classes in late January.

Right: The rain garden won't look like much until the spring when plants are installed but this view from the third floor of the research wing shows how the water will flow from the roof of the CBLS through the garden, enroute to a stream on the west side of the campus.

Left: Despite heavy winds, the aluminum canopy that covers the east entrance to the CBLS was hoisted into place Dec. 30.

Middle: The lobby is finally taking shape. Even the stairway can be used except it is still missing wooden banister railings

Right: Hardscaping has been going on around the CBLS site despite the wintry weather. Here a worker assembles a masonry wall on the northeast corner.
