Be sure to read about "Your Campus Tour Options" to the right of the calendar. We understand that your time may be limited, but we strongly encourage you to take a student-led tour and attend an Admission Information Session to ensure that we answer all of your questions.
Reservations are only required for dates that say "Register" next to the date on the calendar below. To make reservations, click word "Register" on the date the calendar that you plan to attend. If your plans change, no need to cancel — simply choose another day that works better for you and register again if you see the word!
Please be aware that during high school vacations, our tours and information sessions will be larger than usual. Any day on our calendar that says "Register" is a day when we expect a large number of visitors.

What is a College Information Session?
Some of the degree-granting colleges at URI offer information sessions that provide more information about the majors in those colleges. (Some sessions are also offered about specific majors; see our tour calendar for options.) Some of the college sessions include tours of the facilities, but some do not. To make the most of your campus visit, you may wish to contact the college in advance to find out what is being offered.
Admitted students who are looking for the most comprehensive visit experience should consider attending one of our Welcome Days if possible (April 6 and 20). These days include tours of the campus, an opportunity to talk with students from dozens of campus clubs and organizations as well as student services, and to talk to faculty from all of our colleges and majors. The colleges also offer sessions in the afternoon which include tours of the facilities.
Visiting us on a day there is no tour? Pick up a Self Guided Tour at the Visitors Center, Memorial Union Information Desk, the Admission Office or print here.
Special tours and information sessions are typically reserved for schools or organizations that would like to visit the University of Rhode Island with a group of 10 or more people.
Click here for instructions on how to request a group tour. *Please note a three week notice is requested for group tours.
