Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is a merit-based scholarships offered by the University of Rhode Island to two-year college students entering URI as members of Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Minimum grade point average of 3.5 in 24 or more transferable courses
- Current membership in Phi Theta Kappa
- Admission to a URI undergraduate degree program
- URI must be your first four-year institution
- US citizens and permanent residents only
Scholarship Amount:
- RI resident scholarship: $2500 per year
- Non-RI resident: $5000 per year
Renewability:
- Renewable for a second year with a 3.0 URI GPA and continuous full-time enrollment
- Application Deadline: May 1 for fall enrollment November 1 for spring enrollment
