My URI
Name: Kayla
Major: Pharmacy
Graduation Year: 2011
Hometown, State: Johnston, Rhode Island
Two words of advice: Involvement. Time-management.
My personal motto: ""
URI is unique because: We have majors like turf grass management, a lot of history, and really beautiful buildings.
My goal: To raise a family and be the next CEO of Walgreens.
My favorite food on campus: International Pockets wrap and a smoothie!
My best URI moment (so far): Meeting my roommate and getting my tour guide acceptance letter.
My biggest surprise at URI: The amount of pride at URI, the challenge of the classes, and how amazing South County is.
My favorite place on campus (and why): The Quad because it gives you that "college campus" feel. You can rest, study, play football, and frisbee, etc.
On the weekends I: catch up on sleep, go out with my roommates, attend URI sports' events
My favorite class (and why): Economics (I found it interesting)
I selected URI because: Centennial Scholarship, great location, and the pharmacy program
I am involved in: Tour guiding, the Newman Club (URI's Catholic organization), Lambda Kappa Sigma (the Professional Pharmacy Sorority)
