Major: Communication Studies

Minor: Leadership

Graduation Year: 2010

Hometown, State: Simsbury, Connecticut

Two words of advice: "Go" to class and "get" involved

My personal motto: "Live."

URI is unique because: We have such a close community

My goal: To help people in whatever profession I end up in.

My favorite food on campus: Strombolis from the International Zone

My best URI moment (so far): Being initiated into my fraternity

My biggest surprise at URI: How great and community-minded the Greek system is.

My favorite place on campus (and why): Newman Hall. I love history and imagining it as a fraternity house before it became Admission. It has a very interesting design. Working as a summer tour guide was unforgettable as well.

On the weekends I: Hang around and find something to do.

My favorite class (and why): Philosophy. My professor encouraged us to strengthen our beliefs by initially breaking them down and engaging in serious discussions about them.

I selected URI because: of the atmosphere of the campus and the opportunities for learning; and the proximity to the beach!

I am involved in: Inter Varsity Christian Fellowships, Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, Tour Guiding
