URI is unique because: It is the perfect size: big enough that there are always new faces and opportunities, but small enough that it feels like home.
My goal: To represent the interests of struggling nations
My favorite food on campus: Three-piece chicken cooked in the hot sauce from International Slice
My best URI moment (so far): Meeting the love of my life
My biggest surprise at URI: Coming from Rhode Island I never realized how many new people I'd encounter
My favorite place on campus (and why): The Quad (for all the days spent enjoying playing soccer or frisbee)
On the weekends I: take advantage of all the shows and events that take place on campus
My favorite class (and why): Political Corruption because of the interesting perspective and real-life insight my professor brought to the class from his years as an NYPD police detective.
I selected URI because: I love the campus atmosphere
I am involved in: Tour guiding, Working at the Ryan Center doing set ups and break downs, and working as event staff at the football and basketball games
