You can earn advanced placement credit for college if you've completed college-level courses in high school and passed the CEEB Advanced Placement Examination with a test score of 3 or better, or by successfully completing an examination administered by selected University departments.
A list is provided below of URI courses that are considered equivalent to CEEB advanced placement courses. College credit is also available for courses completed at another institution with a grade of C or better. If you've been out of secondary school for more then three years, you can also earn college credit by completing CLEP general and subject examinations to get credit for academically measurable learning acquired in nontraditional ways.
