Our spring schedule runs Mondays through Fridays from February 6 through April 27, 2012, with the exception of holidays. We understand that your time may be limited, but we strongly encourage you to take a tour and attend an Admission Information Session to ensure that we answer all of your questions.


Choose from the following options:

  1. 10:00 a.m. student-led campus tour, immediately followed by an 11:45 a.m. Admission Information Session
  2. 11:45 a.m. Admission Information Session, immediately followed by a 12:30 p.m. student-led campus tour
  3. 2:00 p.m. student-led campus tour
  4. If you are attending a special college information session, you will not be able to take the 10:00 tour. Your option for a tour would be at 12:30, after the admission information session (which we recommend you also attend)
  • First, please stop at the Visitor Center (45 Upper College Rd., Kingston, RI 02881) for your parking pass and parking information.
  • The Visitors Center will provide you with directions to your first destination, based on your arrival time.
  • The Visitors Center hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and closed on Sunday.
  • After 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, the Visitors Center provides (while supplies last) campus maps and self-guided tour information outside the main door.

We are very pleased that you are planning to visit URI! April is a very popular month for visiting because of high school vacation weeks. During those weeks, the tour groups and information sessions are larger than they normally are. We encourage you to arrive early. On our busiest days, we will offer multiple information sessions to accommodate the large crowds, and you may be directed to a room other than the one advertised on the calendar. On Patriots' Day (April 16) the number of visitors is especially large, and the tour groups may be as large as 50-60 people. If you prefer a smaller tour, we recommend that you visit on another day, if possible.
