Major(s): Communicative Disorders

Graduation Year: 2013

Hometown and State: Maywood, NewJersey

Two Words of Advice: Get involved, Don’t wait

My Personal Motto: “The future belongs to those who believe in the power of their dreams.”

URI is Unique Because: It is centrally located to both the beach and cities.

My Goal: My goal is to get accepted into the five year accelerated masters program for Speech Pathology.

My Favorite Food on Campus: Buffalo Chicken Pizza at Butterfield Dining Hall

My Best URI Moment (so far): experiencing the rewards of volunteering with Traumatic Brain Injury patients at Gateway Café.

My Biggest Surprise at URI: Meeting the Fray before their concert at the Ryan Center!

Favorite Place on Campus (and why): Rhody Market because it is not only a great place to socialize or do some homework, but also makes the best milkshakes!

On the Weekends I: enjoy going to dinner with my friends and catching up on some girl talk.

My Favorite Class (and why): is Phonetics because it has the excitement of learning a new language through decoding and analysis.

I Selected URI Because: my older sister came here and loved every moment at URI.

I Am Involved In: Tour Guiding, URI 101 Mentoring, REC Aerobics Group Exercise, Gateway Café, URISSHLA
