We encourage you to register in advance, although we welcome walk-in visitors. We understand that your time may be limited, but to make the most of your visit we strongly encourage you to take a tour and attend an Admission Information Session.
As a returning user, you can reschedule your visit, add information to your personal profile, and register for special events and online chats.
All campus tours are walking tours led by student tour guides ready to give you a first-hand view of our beautiful campus (approximately 90 minutes). We are always prepared for rain or shine—please dress for comfort!
On weekdays, except the holidays listed below, tours leave from the Memorial Union at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and at 12:30 p.m. from Green Hall (Great Room, 2nd. Floor)**.
The following Saturdays offer 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. Campus Tours, all leaving from the Tour Guide Information Booth on the main floor of the Memorial Union:
* Admission Information Sessions are also offered on these days (see below).
At URI, our Information Sessions give an overview of the academic and other opportunities available to students. Each presenter is a professional member of admission team who will also provide you with important details about the application process specific to URI (approximately 45 minutes).
You will also hear from current students who share their personal perspectives on student life, academics, and all aspects of the URI experience.
** On weekdays, we offer an 11:45 a.m. Admission Information Session that is immediately followed by a 12:30 p.m. student-led Campus Tour. Most information sessions are held in the Great Room of Green Hall on the 2nd floor, however, please note the following dates that meet in the Memorial Union:
