Summer tours begin Monday, June 8 and run through Friday, August 21, 2015.
If you have never registered for an event in our Rhody Connection System, you need to create a Rhody Connection account. The process is easy and allows you to change your plans at any time.
You may already be in our Rhody Connection System if you did one or more of the following:
How to create a Rhody Connection Account
Passwords are private and we cannot retrieve them for you, but you can reset yours at any time. Each student should only have one account so it is important that students share the e-mail address they use and their custom password with a parent and/or guardian so that they can use the system, too.
If you discover that you are already in our Rhody Connection System:
Attention parents and guardians: please do not use your e-mail address instead of your student's. We share with you all of the e-mails that we will be sending to your student, so we need to keep your e-mail address separately from theirs. The registration confirmation will go to your student's e-mail address, so you may want to ask them to forward it to you.
With a Rhody Connection account, students and parents/guardians can register for a campus visit, reschedule your plans, update your personal profile, and register for special events and online chats. Online instructions guide you through the registration process.
All campus tours are walking tours led by student tour guides ready to give you a first-hand view of our beautiful campus (approximately 90 minutes). We are always prepared for rain or shine—please dress for comfort!
Please be sure to check the calendar carefully when you register. Most weekdays (and select Saturdays), tours leave at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. from the Campus Tour Booth in the Memorial Union.
At URI, our Information Sessions give an overview of the academic and other opportunities available to students. Each presenter is a professional member of admission team who will also provide you with important details about the application process specific to URI (approximately 45 minutes). Admission Information Sessions are held most weekdays at 11:45 a.m.
You will also hear from current students who share their personal perspectives on student life, academics, and all aspects of the URI experience.
Please check the calendar carefully. On our busiest days, we offer separate Admission Information Sessions for high school juniors and admitted seniors. We encourage transfer applicants to attend the junior sessions. Although these Information Sessions on our busiest days are tailored to juniors or seniors, our Campus Tours may include juniors, seniors, and transfer students.
