Faculty succeed best when they have the skills and knowledge necessary for career advancement. The following faculty development workshops consist of both existing programs supported by the university (e.g., effective teaching workshop and grant-writing workshop) as well as workshops designed to address the goals of
ADVANCE. These Career Workshops have been developed with the needs of junior faculty in mind and are essential in our aim to promote the careers of all women on campus by encouraging personal efficacy, collaboration, support and innovation.
