W. Alton Jones Campus

Whether you are planning a class reunion, family get-together, company picnic, union outing or other casual gathering, the Environmental Education Center can meet your needs. Quiet trails, a private lake, recreation fields and good times can all be found on our 2,300-acre former estate. Meals can be as simple as grilled hamburgers and hot dogs or a steak fry or as multifaceted as barbecued chicken and ribs or a New England clamboil.

Our staff can provide lifeguarded swimming and canoeing at our private lakefront or children’s activities such as nature hikes, farm tours or kid’s games. A sand volleyball court, soccer field, softball, bocce ball and horseshoes are all available. In the evening, gather round the campfire with friends. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased through the Campus and if you wish, we can provide a cash bar for your convenience. Overnight accommodations are available at our cabins. Outside electrical outlets and lighting are available for a live band, disc jockey, magician or other entertainment.
