
Escape to the serenity of the W. Alton Jones Campus Environmental
Education Center. Surround yourself with tranquil forests; gather
your thoughts, or just pinecones. Spring wildflowers, summer
barbecues, fall
foliage, or winters by the fireplace, every season awaits you.
The Environmental Education Center facilities are available
year-round for groups to rent. Availability is primarily on
weekends, as well as weekdays at certain times of the year.
Youth and adult groups of all ages use the Center’s meeting
rooms and cabins for conferences, retreats, religious functions,
trainings, group building,class reunions and corporate barbecues.
Meals and audiovisual equipment are provided.
The wood and glass main lodge delivers comfort with two fieldstone
fireplaces, functionality with meeting rooms and breakout spaces
and the dining hall, which draws your group together for feasts.
Cozy cabins for overnight accommodations, winterized for year
round use, feature pine bunks and indoor lavatories with hot
showers. 
Recreational activities abound at the Environmental Education
Center. Follow a map of hiking trails, paddle a canoe on Lake
Eisenhower or just sit back and take in the beauty around you.
Learn from a small-group session of Team
Building. Enjoy a game of sand volleyball, cheer
on your team in softball, or relax in a game of bocce ball or
horseshoes. In the evening, gather round the campfire, or cozy
up to a welcoming fireplace with friends. |
