With more than 2,300 acres of lakes, forests and farmland, the
Environmental Education Center at the W. Alton Jones Campus
offers a big backyard suitable for learning, exploration, adventure
and fun. We have a 75-acre lake, extensive hiking trails and
a number of streams and ponds. There is also a historial farm
and a replica Native American shelter and living area.
With all of this to offer, everyone enjoying a camping experience
at W. Alton Jones will get a hands-on experience, while taking
away unique and individual memories. At W. Alton Jones we balance
teaching and learning with the traditional elements of camp.
This includes swimming, arts, crafts, canoeing, hiking, and
time for making new friends.
