RhodeMap to Safety is a public awareness campaign designed to: 

• Make students aware of increased alcohol enforcement efforts in Narragansett, South Kingstown, and on campus

• Inform students that a majority of URI undergraduates support alcohol policy and enforcement efforts to create a safer and healthier campus

• Educate students about Rhode Island drinking and driving laws and URI alcohol policies

RhodeMap to Safety will focus on helping students: 

• Avoid becoming one of the approximately 1350 college students who die each year in alcohol-related traffic crashes

• Prevent the consequences and expense of arrest for DUI or violation of state laws or URI alcohol policies
