Get a MAP from

FROM THE NORTH (Providence / Warwick)

  1. Take 95 S to Rte. 4 South toward North Kingstown (Exit 9). Go 10.2 miles.
  2. Rte 4 South merges into Rte. 1 S. Continue 3.2 miles
    Note: Pass Rte. 138 E (Jamestown/Newport). DO NOT TAKE THIS EXIT. 138 W is ~2mi south.
  3. Turn right at 138 W (Mooresfield Rd) - go 3.6 miles to first light (intersection of 108 in Kingston).
  4. Continue straight on 138 through Kingston - go 0.2 mile to second light
  5. Turn right at Upper College Road (main entry to University) - go 0.15 mi to first stop sign. Resume "On Campus" directions, below.

FROM THE SOUTH (Connecticut / Westerly)

  1. Take 95 N to RI Exit 3A, 138 East (signs for URI and the Ryan Center athletic complex). Go 8.7 miles to light at 110 (Minesterial Road)
  2. Continue straight on 138 ~1 mile to next light, at the top of Kingston Hill. Turn left onto Upper College Road (main entry to University) - go 0.15 mi to first stop sign.

ON CAMPUS DIRECTIONS

  1. Continue straight, through the stop sign. The Visitor Information Center will be on your right.
    During weekdays before 5:00, you should stop to get a visitor/parking pass. This is not necessary in the evening or on weekends.
  2. Continue on Upper College Road 0.25 miles until you see the FINE ARTS CENTER on your right at the corner of Upper College & Bills Rds.
  3. Take a right onto Bills Rd. and park in the large parking lot behind the CENTER.

The Main, Photography, and Corridor Galleries are all on the 1st floor.

HOURS

Please obtain a Visitor Parking Pass from the Visitor Information Center, located at the first intersection on Upper College Road.

The Fine Arts Center Building is handicapped accessible. Admission to all galleries is free; Donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated.

Food and drink are prohibited in all galleries. Photography of exhibitions is prohibited in all galleries, unless special permission is granted.
