William Klenk
Professor
William Klenk received his BFA from Miami University and his MA and Ph.D. from Ohio State University. He has been teaching painting and drawing at the University of Rhode Island since 1960. Klenk has exhibited nationally including the Cumberland Gallery in Nashville, TN, the Knoxville Museum of Art in Knoxville, TN, the Virginia Lynch Gallery in Tiverton, RI and the Newport Art Museum.
His work is in public and corporate collections including Fidelity Investments Corporation, the RISD Museum and Rhode Island Hospital. His private portrait commissions include President Robert Carothers at URI, Angelica Huston for the film "Mr. North", and Professor Agnes Doody.
