Students in the Video and Filmmaking sequence learn to use a variety of digital video, motion graphics, animation and filmmaking techniques to shape their ideas in a time-based format, while becoming adept at analyzing and critiquing historic and contemporary works.
The emphasis in these courses is on creating moving images in a fine arts context.
This can include formal experimentation with the medium, social or political critique or statement, and/or exploration of narrative, musical, or poetic forms.
