Sentence Pattern | Agent and Action—Exercises
Week 4
In these sentences, analyze the relations between the action and the verb, and the objects and the subject. Revise these sentences using standard sentence patterns, making the agent the subject of the sentence and the action the verb, and by using personal pronouns. Revise passive voice to identify the agent of the action, adding pronouns if needed. Revise sentences with dummy subjects to use a more concrete object as subject. Break up or eliminate nouns clusters.
Even-number sentences include a hint, taken from the notes on agent and action.
