You are expected and encouraged to ask questions in class about some aspects of interpersonal communication that do not come across clearly in texts. Requirements:

1. Attend and participate in class meetings

2. Successfully take four exams

3. Successfully complete a final paper for the course (assignment forthcoming)

4. Read assigned materials (pop quizzes are possible ANYTIME).

Grade Distribution for the course

Attendance and participation 10%

Exams 50%

Final Paper 40%

Attendance: You don’t want to miss this class. You will be penalized on your final average beyond the 10% attendance and participation after 4 undocumented absences. You must present medical excuses to make up any work that you miss.
