Sharman joined the URI teaching staff in 1991, after working as a Corporate College Recruiter, a Consultant in the Outplacement business and a Career Counselor in the College Career Services field. Her teaching interests are public speaking, interpersonal commuinication, persuasion, designing cover letters and resumes, preparing for the interview process and learning about the networking/informational interview process.
