COMMUNICATION STUDIES
UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND

Presently, Conlon teaches courses in Documentary Production, and Documentary Pre-Production. The courses engage students in the documentary making process by examining documentary history, ethics, creative challenges, and engaging in full-scale production (shooting, composition, lighting, audio) and post production (non-linear editing). In the production course, students complete a ten minute documentary short based upon a project that is entirely researched and pre-produced in Documentary Pre-Production.
