BIO
Mr. Greenwood joined the Department of Communication Studies at URI in September, 2002 where he now teaches undergraduate courses in Interpersonal Communication and Communication Fundamentals which focuses on the basic elements of Public Speaking and Small Group Communication. Mr. Greenwood is also one of two freshmen Communication Studies advisors at URI’s University College and also participates in URI's annual Freshmen Summer Orientation Program.
Harrington School of Communication and Media Lecturer, Dr. Samara Anarbaeva, presents her paper exploring the construction of Second Life avatar's identity in terms of race, gender, and fashion.
Ian Reyes, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of
Communication Studies, was instrumental in establishing a new

Dr. McClure received the 2010 NCA Outstanding Article Award for "Kenneth Burke's Dramatic Form Criticism," coauthored with F. D. Anderson and A. King, in Rhetorical Criticism, edited by J. A. Kuypers.
