BIO
Joanne Mundorf is a Lecturer in the Communication Studies Department. Her primary research interests are intercultural, visual and mass media. She has teaching experience in intercultural, visual, interpersonal, persuasion, media, both face-to-face and online. She was part of the transition committee from WebCT to SAKAI ,and continues to be active as an online teaching peer mentor. Joanne is a member of the editorial review board of the Journal of Intercultural Communication Research.
Harrington School of Communication and Media Lecturer, Dr. Samara Anarbaeva, presents her paper exploring the construction of Second Life avatar's identity in terms of race, gender, and fashion.
Ian Reyes, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of
Communication Studies, was instrumental in establishing a new
