Rewriting Hypotheses and Identifying Variables

Instructions:  For each one of these research questions, write a research hypothesis and the corresponding null hypothesis.  Identify all of the variables in each question by circling them.  Put an "R" in front of relationship hypotheses and a "C" in front of comparative hypotheses.  Then pick two hypotheses and conceptually define all of the variables in them.

1.    Does humor in advertising affect male and female viewers differently?
