BIO
Dr. Logan joined the department in 2005. Prior to that he served as an entomologist in the URI Department of Plant Sciences from 1977. He has also served as Associate Dean, College of Resource Development (1993-1995), Director of the RI Agricultural Experiment Station (1995-2000), and Director of RI Cooperative Extension (1998-2000).

Pat's research interests are in scientific communication, the rhetorical relation between science and anti-science, and the relation between scientific discourse communities and the public sphere.
