Since 1976 he has been in private practice as an audiologist in South County. For the last 13 years he has had an office in the Narragansett Medical Building. Gary enjoys boating during the summer months on his lobster boat and the winter in his Vermont home. He and his wife have one daughter who is currently attending the University of Vermont.

Gary Peigelbeck has been an adjunct professor at the University of Rhode Island, Department of Communication Studies since 1972. He has taught Persuasion, Rhetoric, and Communication 101 (Public Speaking).
