BIO
Rick Smith has been fortunate to have had several professions and careers, all of which support and inform his teaching.

He was a criminal trial attorney in Boston and Cambridge MA for many years for the Middlesex County District Attorney. Prosecuted rapes, armed robberies and other felonies in Superior Court. Then general practice in civil and on defense side in Concord MA.

He was a broadcast news reporter, a sports anchor, and then an entertainment host and producer of TV shows for ABC, NBC and other stations. He performed, wrote, and produced shows, commercials, and scripts.

He created and was the TV producer and host and writer for business show "It's Your Business" airing on NBC after "Meet the Press."

He was the Executive Director of the Film Commission: Films include: True Lies with James Cameron, Dumb and Dumber, Amistad with Stephen Spielberg, Meet Joe Black with Brad Pitt, hundreds of TV commercials and TV shows for the BBC, CBS, NBC, and ABC and others.
