Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,

I wanted to inform you that Friday, June 8, 2001 at 12:30 PM, Isaac Benaiah Salazar entered the world. Let us all pray that during his lifetime he is able to make it a better place than it was when he entered it. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 13 oz., and 22 inches long. Both mother and baby are now home and doing fine (if exhausted and a bit sore). We went to the hospital at 6:30 AM in the morning on Friday to have Sarah be induced. She started having contractions and was "pushing" at 10:45. An hour and forty-five minutes later, Isaac was born. Christopher and Daniel have quickly taken to Isaac and are already very protective and loving of him. Sarah, needless to say, is relieved that it is over. I am sending out a couple of pictures as attachments with this e-mail message. Hopefully you are able to receive and "open" them. If not I have put some up on the following web site:
