While the vast career opportunities continue to evolve, graduates of the Public Relations program can consider the world of Media Relations, Public Affairs, Advertising, and Crisis Communication, to name a few career options.

Thank you for your interest in majoring in Public Relations. To be considered a candidate, please complete this application and submit to Regina A. Bell, Davis Hall, Room 105B by February 25, 2008.

Please be informed of the following details:

• Formal admission to the Public Relations Major is not automatic A maximum of 25 applications are accepted annually. Admission is based on grade point average (refer to URI Catalog for specifics).
• The Major requires a minimum GPA of 2.0 overall and 2.5 in the pre-major courses.
• Formal admission to the Public Relations Major is required for enrollment in PRS 340 in the Fall of 2008.
