The Minor in Public Relations
Journalism, Communications Studies, TMD and Marketing majors who wish to minor in Public Relations should follow the interdisciplinary curriculum outlined below. Students in other Majors who are interested in Public Relations

All PR minors must take one of the following:
STA 220—Statistics in Modern Society
STA 308—Introductory Statistics
STA 409—Statistical Methods in Research I
BAC 201—Managerial Statistics
MTH 107—Finite Math
Communications Studies majors
take the following courses:
JOR 220—Media Writing (pre: a WRT course with a grade of B or better) or ANY Writing course in addition to the required general education writing requirement
JOR 340—Public Relations (pre: JOR 220 with a grade of C or better)

—Internship (in Public Relations; pre: JOR 340)
BUS 365 (MKT 301)—Marketing Principles
Two additional Marketing courses
