Joining Lambda Pi Eta

Before joining Lambda Pi Eta, take a few minutes to reflect what you can contribute to the organization. Because you are among the best, you can contribute to Lambda Pi Eta's goals to serve as an outreach to the community. To do so requires commitment on your part as we need active members. Joining Lambda Pi Eta means meeting the national as well as local requirements. Beta Gamma, the local chapter, has voted that becoming a national member is not automatic. You must meet the following qualifications to become eligible for induction. Only after meeting these requirements will you be inducted and have national membership status.

*Paying $48.00 for membership fees (mandatory) and any of the following:

-Attending 50% of the meetings.
-Participating in the preparation of the Career Forums.
-Holding office hours to serve as mentors and offering help for students.

If you want to be "among the best" and contribute to our academic community, please fill out the LPE form and ask for a list of this semester's meeting dates.

 

Honorary Members must:

- Have completed 45 semester hours of undergraduate credits
- Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
- Have completed the equivalent of 9 semester hours in communication courses
- Have a minimum of a 3.25 in those courses
- Be currently enrolled as a full-time student in good standing in a program with an active chapter.
