Basic Liberal Studies Requirements

Courses used to fulfill these requirements must be selected from the list approved by the College of Arts and Sciences. Basic Liberal Studies requirements are designed only for students in the College of Arts and Sciences, but they also fulfill the Univer sity's General Education requirements.

Courses in a student's major may not be used to fulfill requirements in Fine Arts and Literature, Letters, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences. Students completing a double major, however, may use courses from one major of their choice to fulfill these requirements.
