One of the Department's strengths is its undergraduate teaching. Three of the Department's faculty have received the University's Teaching Excellence Award (Glen Ramsay, Richard McIntyre, and Art Mead). The best testament to the quality teaching comes from our former students, one of whom wrote: "[e]nough cannot be said about the Economics faculty, all of whom are dedicated to their profession and their students. All were accessible after class hours to provide extra assistance with class topics, lend academic and career advice or just provide a sounding board for whatever questions one might have on an issue."
