Carole Miller
Professor. (Ph.D., Syracuse University, 1988). Professor Miller has published a number of articles related to the labor force participation behavior of married women. Her articles have appeared in Applied Economics, Atlantic Economic Journal, Australian
Bulletin of Labour, and Journal of Economic Studies. She serves as a referee for Applied Economics.
Professor Miller teaches the mathematically orientated courses in economics, as well as the theory courses, and labor economics. Professor Miller, as the official
representative to URI, for the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research is available to assist students in obtaining published data for use in term papers or research projects. She is especially interested in helping students increase
and improve their mathematical skills and advising students preparing for graduate school.
