English Language Studies Program
The English Language Studies (ELS) Program at the University of Rhode Island exists to meet the unique needs of students who are non-native speakers of English. It supports URI’s mission by equipping them with the skills necessary for academic success at a learner-centered research university. Credit-bearing courses and support services are offered to both undergraduate and graduate students in order to enhance students’ overall academic success.
