Film director and writer Hal Hamilton was educated at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and the University of California. He has worked over twenty years in theater and television including the BBC and ITV, the English Stage Company, and the Joe Papp NYC Shakespeare Company. He jumped the footlights in 1970 to produce and direct documentary and international sports and corporate features. He also worked for Formula One, Texaco, Ford, Sauber, Porsche, Mercedes Benz and Solar Productions with actor Steve McQueen which included co-productions with Germany and France.
