Brian Knoth is a digital media artist, musician, and interactive systems designer specializing in music composition/production, sound design, digital video/computer graphics, and interactive multimedia. His work explores concepts related to multi-sensory perception, empathy, and human/environment interaction. This work is realized in several formats including electro-acoustic music, audio-visual composition, interactive multimedia performance, installation art, and interactive systems for mind-body rehabilitation. Knoth was one of three recipients of the prestigious 2011 MacColl Johnson Fellowship in Music Composition. He has also been awarded grants by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts and the Creative Arts Council (Brown University).
