Kyle King will be screening his latest film, Fatigued at the Columbus Theater on April 19, 2013. You can see the trailer here.

 

Ryan Casey, Allie Furlong, Kayla Chin and Josh Ducharme will be screening their new film I'll Be Seeing You at the Park Theater on March 2, 2013. Matt DiGennaro's film This is a Love Story has been accepted into the 2013 international "Let's All Be Free" Film Festival in London, England. The short film will screen this April. This is a Love Story previously premiered as an official selection of the 2012 Rhode Island International Film Festival.

Ashton Avila's film Needless Wait has been accepted into the 2013 Los Angeles Women's International Film Festival. In addition to the film's screening, Ashton has been invited to attent The Filmmaker Workshops hosted by the Women of Warner Bros. Watch the trailer on youtube!

Two teams of URI students participated in the 48 Hour Film Festival in Providence this summer.

Roger Bacon, Gene Rosati Jr., Allie Furlong, Kayla Chin, Colby Blanchet and Chris Smith made up the team, Tough All Over, that won Best Editing at the 48 Hour Film Festival for their film The Greatness. See the trailer on Vimeo. (password: greatness)

The URI Film Collaborative, made up of students, Daniel Larsh, Anna Salatto, Brittany Diamond, Dan Matteus, Isabelle Motley, Mecca Smith and Alex Papa produced 2 Pounds for the 48 Hour Film Festival.

Film/Media students Kayla Chin, Roger Bacon, Gene Rosati Jr., Allie Furlong, Matt DiGennaro, along with faculty member Keith Brown, filmed a documentary about free dental care in Rhode Island for the Rhode Island Mission of Mercy. You can watch the film on YouTube.
