Paul Allen, M.F.A., Cinema, University of Southern California is a published novelist and screenwriter. He was in the Hollywood film industry for years before turning to teaching. In the English Dept. since 1989, he has taught American Film Classics, and Film Genres, including film noir, science fiction, the musical, and at the University of Southern California, all phases of film production.
