The office is staffed Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. by Linda Gray. (Voice-mail messages can be left via the office number or with individual faculty.)

Part-time instructors have mailboxes in Chafee 230, and you can leave telephone messages for them by calling the department office.

The Reporting/Writing/Editing Lab is located in Chafee 239 & 241. This is a teaching lab equipped with Macintosh workstations that are networked, providing access to considerable software, including Microsoft Word and Quark XPress. Each workstation allows you to use e-mail and access the World Wide Web.

The Broadcast News Lab is located in Chafee 202. It provides facilities for audio and video, and includes digital video cameras and a computer equipped for video editing. Like the computer lab, access is strictly controlled and limited to students enrolled in broadcast journalism courses in a particular semester.
