This Web site was developed to provide URI students a way to acquire digital journalism skills along with developing reportorial and editorial skills. It also was envisioned as a showcase for the best of their work.

Feel free to use these stories in your publications. We ask only that you give credit to the student, identify her/him as a URI journalism student and send us a clip. As stories are published, we’ll add a citation to them.

Stories provide e-mail links to the writers so you can contact them directly with questions or comments. You can e-mail their professor by selecting from the links below. Other questions about THE SOURCE should be directed to Barbara F. Luebke, who is coordinating the project.

Stories are organized by the courses for which they were written.
