Cart with Projector and VCR

This Epson projector
cart can also be used with a laptop computer if
requested. We currently have 2 Dell Computers
running Windows2000, 1 PowerBook G3 running OS 9,
and 1 PowerBook G4 running OS X.
If there is a Fire
Drill,
please shutdown and unplug the projector and laptop
from the cart and take with you when you exit the
building!

Cart
Directions (When in classroom)
1.
Plug cart power cord into wall socket
2.
Turn the projector on –
·
Depress power button on EPSON (indicator
light will turn on)
3.
If using a laptop and the ethernet, check the
classroom ethernet ports for the red
mark that indicates the active port. Plug the cable
into this port
4.
If using a laptop, turn the laptop on now

| 5.
Select your source (Computer
or Video)
from the Epson control buttons located
on the top of the projector
6.
If using video, insert the video into
the VCR ( this will automatically power
on the VCR)
7.
If using a laptop, once the computer is powered
up, align the monitors

Dell:
Function + F8

G3:
Open Monitors
control panel, select Arrange,
drag one monitor icon on top of the other in the
lower window (above identify
monitors) in dialog box, select monitors
at top of dialog box, choose 640
x 480 resolution

8.
If using sound from any source, check if
you have amplifier on. You can
adjust the sound by turning the large knob
on the left |

If using a video, insert the video into the VCR
(this will automatically power on the VCR)

At
end of class…
1.
If using a computer, shut down the computer
2.
On the EPSON projector, push the power button
once (you will see a message on the screen
telling you to press it again).
Press the power button the second time to
start the cool down cycle for the bulb. Do not
unplug the cart until the flashing light has
stopped
3.
Rewind the cord around the dog ears and return
to 302/301
4. Please
do not leave cart unattended, return to
Independence 301
