Membership Reimbursement for Students

Funds for student reimbursement are taken from the Lucille Chernack Professional Development Fund. This fund was established in 2006 in honor of Lucille Chernack, President of the School Library Association from 1959 to 1963. She helped spearhead the campaign to start the new Graduate Library School at URI, and was named our "Graduate of the Year" in April of 2006 at GSLIS' annual gathering. GSLIS remembers her contributions to librarianship and library education with gratitude.
