Publication Opportunities for GSLIS Students
- The Library and Information Technology Association (LITA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), is pleased to offer an award for the best unpublished manuscript submitted by a student or students enrolled in an ALA-accredited graduate program. Sponsored by LITA and Ex Libris, the award consists of $1,000, a certificate and publication in LITA's refereed journal, Information Technology and Libraries (ITAL). The deadline for submission of the manuscript has been extended to March 24, 2010.

- The Journal of Strategic Information Systems is asking for papers about Strategic Enterprise Information Systems for Global Supply Chain Competitiveness Submission deadline: 15 May 2010
- Cataloging and Classification Quarterly is calling for papers on Cataloging Grey Literature that are 15-20 pages double spaced, deadline is June 30, 2010
- Libres accepts submissions at anytime; this is an internationally distributed electronic journal disseminating new research in the area of Library and Information Science. Articles should be submitted to EDITORS@BIBLIO.CURTIN.EDU.AU
- Libri, International Journal of Library and Information Services is looking for the Best Student Paper. The award recipient will have their paper published, receive a year subscription to Libri, and receive 500.00 Û. The deadline is May 31st.
- Progressive Librarian has announced a call for papers for the Miriam Braverman Memorial Prize. The paper must be about some aspect of social responsibilities of Librarians, libraries, or librarianship. Deadline: 1 May 2010
