Instructional Technology in Library and Information Services

Discussion
A major component of this course is the discussion that takes place on
WebCT. The discussion will be used to discuss the topic(s) of the week
with other members of the class during the weeks class is held on WebCT.
You will be expected to make at least one contribution to the discussion
each of these weeks to received at least a "B" (8.5 points) for this component
of the class.
The discussions should pertain to the assigned readings for that week,
to ask questions of concern to the whole class, or it can be used to provide
information to all other members of the class. I will post questions pertaining
to the topics for the week to stimulate discussion on certain topics.
Information obtained from articles read for the annotations will often
provide valuable discussion material.
WebCT email may be used for individual communication. Chat rooms are also
available for real-time conversations with others in the class. (10% of final grade for
discussion component)
