Assigned Readings

Reading assignments primarily will come from the texts or related readings. The material should be read when it is assigned. This will give a common base from which to approach in-class activities and make the course easier.

Texts

Smaldino, S.E., Russell, J.D., Heinich, R., & Molenda, M. (2005). Instructional Technology and Media for Learning. Eighth edition. New York: Prentice-Hall Publishing Co. (ISBN: 0-13-113682-8)

Williams, R. (2004). The Non-Designer's Design Book. Second edition. Berkeley, CA: Peachpit Press. (ISBN: 0-321-19385-7)

You can purchase the texts at the URI Bookstore or obtain them from Prentice-Hall, Amazon.com, Barnes and Nobles, some other online source, or a local bookstore. Most online sources send out the text within twenty-four hours.
