As a result of this lesson, you will:

1. introduce yourself to the class.

2. discuss the syllabus for LSC 529.

3. prepare annotations of journal articles of 50 words or less and include proper bibliographic information.

4. define information design.

5. discuss information design and related fields such as persuasion design and instruction design as they influence information design.

6. discuss instructional design principles as they relate to information design.

7. distinguish between instructional development models and instructional design models.

8. distinguish between instructional developers and instructional designers.

9. describe and discuss at least three instructional development models.

10. discuss how instructional development models can be useful helping with information design.
