As a result of this lesson, you will:
1. describe and apply the "DADDIE" approach to problem solving.
2. describe and apply the four basic principles of visual design.
3. describe and apply the five visual design tools.
4. define perception, communication, learning, instruction, and model.
5. briefly describe at least four basic perception theories.
6. describe the visual field.
7. use principles of visual perception such as visual grouping, visual separating and movement in designing and presenting information.
8. use the visual communication techniques of identification, characterization, evaluation, prescription and relating to meet the purposes of the information you develop.
9. discuss the visualization process and use a general development plan for applying the general principles of perception.
