INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE
Class Discussion
A major component of this course is the discussion that takes place on WebCT. The discussion list will be used to discuss the topic(s) of each week with other members of the class. You will be expected to make at least one contribution to the bulletin board each week (at least ten postings during the course) to receive at least a "B" (8.5 points) for this component of the class.
The discussions should pertain to the assigned readings for that week, to ask questions of concern to the whole class, or it can be used to provide information to all other members of the class. Your readings for the class will often provide valuable discussion material, but you may also find information on your own that may be valuable to others in the course. (10%)
WebCT email may also be used for small group or individual communication. Chat rooms are also available for real-time conversations with others in the class. During the class on September 5 a chat room time will be designated for the class to meet each week to ask specific questions related to the class.
